Siemens Healthineers Core Businesses Offset Currency, Tariff Challenges

By Billy Gray

Siemens Healthineers said fiscal first-quarter revenue grew on a comparable basis as results in its core business units, imaging and precision therapy, offset currency and tariff challenges.

The German healthcare company on Thursday posted 5.40 billion euros ($6.38 billion) in revenue for the first quarter through Dec. 31, down from 5.48 billion euros on year but up 3.8% on a comparable basis. Net profit for the quarter was 449 million euros compared with 474 million euros in the prior-year period, it said.

Analysts had expected a net profit of 418 million euros and revenue of 5.44 billion euros, according to estimates compiled by Vara Research.

Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes fell to 809 million euros from 822 million euros, while the margin for that metric stayed flat at 15.0%.

The company backed its 2026 guidance of comparable revenue growth of between 5% to 6% over fiscal 2025, and adjusted basic earnings per share in the range of 2.20 to 2.40 euros.
