China Resources Power 2025 Net Profit Rose on Higher Demand

China Resources Power reported higher 2025 profit due to increased power demand and lower fuel costs.
Full-year net profit rose 0.9% to 14.52 billion Hong Kong dollars, equivalent to US$1.85 billion, said the Hong Kong-based power generation company on Wednesday.
The total net generation volume of the group's consolidated power plants was 226,790 gigawatt-hour in 2025, up 7.0% from the prior year.
The average unit fuel cost of consolidated coal-fired power plants decreased 14% in 2025 to 237.50 yuan, equivalent to US$34.49, per megawatt-hour.
Revenue declined 3.1% to HK$102.01 billion.
Looking ahead, the company said that it will continuously enhance lean operations, cost control and market-based trading capabilities centered on green power and spot trading.
