Reliance Industries reported a lower net profit for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, but its oil-to-chemicals business boosted revenue.

The Indian conglomerate said Friday that net profit for the quarter ended March 31 slipped to 169.71 billion rupees ($1.80 billion) from 194.07 billion rupees a year earlier, below an estimate of 201.16 billion rupees from a poll of analysts by data provider LSEG.

Revenue for the quarter increased to 2.986 trillion rupees from 2.646 trillion rupees a year earlier. Revenue at its oil-to-chemicals business, which accounted for the lion's share of sales, grew to 1.849 trillion rupees from 1.646 trillion rupees.
