By Nina Kienle

Schneider Electric posted higher first-quarter revenue, reporting strong growth across all business models.

The French group said Thursday that revenue for the period rose 11% on an organic basis to 9.77 billion euros ($11.41 billion).

Analysts expected revenue for the quarter at 9.76 billion euros, according to consensus estimates compiled by the company.

The energy-management division posted organic revenue growth of 13%, with data centers remaining the main driver, the group said.

Industrial automation was up 4.4% on organic basis, with the recovery in discrete automation continuing to progress, it said.

For 2026, the company backed its outlook.

"The fundamentals underpinning our markets remain strong, even if recent macroeconomic and geopolitical developments have increased uncertainty," Chief Executive Olivier Blum said.
