Iberdrola Net profit Rises, Reaffirms Guidance
By Anthony O. Goriainoff
Iberdrola said net profit rose for the first half as revenue increased, and reiterated guidance for the year.
The Spanish energy company on Wednesday said net profit for the first half was 4.34 billion euros ($4.95 billion) compared with 3.56 billion euros the year prior.
Revenue for the period rose to 22.47 billion euros from 22.10 billion euros last year.
The company backed its guidance for the year. In April, the Spanish utility said that it expected adjusted net profit to grow more than 8% this year, excluding capital gains from asset sales. For 2025 the company reported adjusted net profit of 6.23 billion euros.
