Eni to Buy European Fuel Service Station Business From Prax
By Adam Whittaker
Italian oil major Eni said it would buy fuel service station business Oil Tankstellen from Prax for an undisclosed sum.
The deal was made through its Enilive subsidiary that houses its mobility businesses and is co-owned with U.S private equity company KKR, which has a 30% stake.
Enilive will get around 320 service stations across Germany, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland. This will add to the roughly 5,300 service stations it already owns across Europe.
The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
