Rheinmetall to Modernize Frigate For German Navy

Rheinmetall said it won a contract to modernize an F123-class frigate for the German Navy.
The German arms maker didn't disclose the exact amount of the contract, but said it had a value in the mid-three-digit million-euro range.
The group said the purpose of the project is to ensure the operational readiness of the frigate, which entered service in 1996, until at least 2035.
