Oracle to Deploy Quantinuum's Helios in AI Data Center
By Dean Seal
The quantum computing company Quantinuum said it has signed a multi-year partnership with Oracle to deploy its most advanced quantum computer, Helios, in one of Oracle's AI data centers.
Quantinuum said the deployment will give Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers direct access to Helios through OCI's quantum service.
The two companies are pairing up to explore how hybrid quantum-AI infrastructure could address the biggest challenges that enterprises face and broaden access for universities and research institutions.
"We want to give developers a practical and secure way to explore how quantum computing could complement their existing AI and HPC workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure while improving compute efficiency and energy use," said Mahesh Thiagarajan, executive vice president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
