Dreyer's Recalls Certain Outshine Fruit Bars Due to Risk of Glass — Update

By Josh Beckerman

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream recalled certain Outshine Fruit Bars due to the possible presence of glass.

The company said no illnesses or injuries have been reported. It said it is taking this action out of an abundance of caution following consumer reports of glass.

The recall includes strawberry, watermelon, grape, tangerine and black cherry 6-count 2.5 ounce bars, and a 24-count variety pack.

Dreyer's is part of Froneri, a joint venture between Nestlé and PAI Partners.
