Japan Trading House Itochu Plans to Start Tender Offer for Dentsu Soken

Japanese trading house Itochu Corp. plans to start a tender offer to take private Dentsu Soken, an information technology services unit of Dentsu Group.
Dentsu Soken said Friday that it received a proposal from Itochu to begin a tender offer at 2,880 yen, equivalent to $18.07, a share to acquire shares held by shareholders other than the parent, Dentsu Group.
The Japanese IT services provider said that its board supported the Itochu proposal and recommended that shareholders tender their shares.
