Airbus Receives Order for 229 Satellites From Eutelsat

Airbus said that French satellite operator Eutelsat Communications had ordered 229 satellites to strengthen its OneWeb constellation, which delivers high-speed connectivity services.
The European aircraft maker said its defense and space unit had signed an authorization to proceed with Eutelsat for 229 satellites, which come on top of 440 satellites that were already procured and are due for delivery and launch soon.
Airbus didn't disclose financial details for the order.
