SB Energy could raise up to $500 million in Japan as part of its planned listing in the U.S.
The SoftBank Group unit said Tuesday that the amount to be raised in Japan would be decided at a later date when the offering price is determined, expected between September 2026 and February 2027.
SB Energy, an AI infrastructure platform backed by SoftBank, registered for the initial public offering earlier this month. The company said it would trade on Nasdaq under the symbol SBE.
SB Energy is aiming to raise between $5 billion and $7 billion in the IPO, The Wall Street Journal has reported.
