Renault, Geely Progress Brazilian Partnership With $368 Million Plant Investment
By Adam Whittaker
French car maker Renault and China's Geely plan to invest 319 million euros, equivalent to $368.2 million, in Brazilian manufacturing capabilities.
The two manufacturers are partners in the South American country after a 2025 agreement saw Geely acquire a 26.4% stake in Renault do Brasil.
The investment will fund the production of a new electrified Renault vehicle and the Renault Hybrid E-Tech 4x4 flex-fuel technology in Brazil in 2027, the companies said Tuesday.
