Stocks to Watch: Paramount Skydance, Warner Bros. Discovery, Accenture, Amneal Pharmaceuticals

The Wall Street Journal reported that Paramount Skydance is in talks with California officials to resolve an antitrust lawsuit blocking its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. Shares of Paramount gained 4.8%, to $10.70, after Friday's closing bell. Warner Bros. shares rose 6.9%, to $29.72.

Accenture agreed to a $2 billion deal with Anthropic to integrate safety protocols into the artificial-intelligence lab's internal systems. The stock rose 7.1%, to $194.11, after-hours.

The Food and Drug Administration approved Amneal Pharmaceuticals' lanreotide, a generic treatment for hormonal diseases. Shares were up 2.9%, at $19.26.
