Prosus Adds WeTransfer Co-Founder as Chief Product Officer
By Michael Hennessey
Prosus named Euro Beinat as chief artificial intelligence officer and said WeTransfer co-founder Ronald Hans, or Nalden, will join as chief product officer.
The Amsterdam-listed company--the biggest shareholder in Tencent and also owner of companies like food-delivery platforms Just Eat Takeaway.com and iFood--promoted Paul van der Boor to chief technology officer from vice president of AI.
The new hires will lead Prosus's AI strategy, the company said.
"With this team, we plug the best product leadership in Europe into one of the biggest commerce data sets in the world," said Chief Executive Officer Fabricio Bloisi.
Hans co-founded file-sharing service WeTransfer in 2009 and has since operated as an investor in European technology.
