Venture Global Signs Long-Term LNG Deal With ConocoPhillips

By Katherine Hamilton

ConocoPhillips agreed to buy 1 million tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas from Venture Global for 20 years, starting in 2030.

"This agreement reflects continued market confidence in our proven ability to deliver reliable, low-cost U.S. LNG quickly and at scale," Venture Global Chief Executive Mike Sabel said.

The LNG producer in September made a similar deal to sell China Gas Holdings 500,000 tonnes per annum during the same timeframe.
