Before joining Morningstar in 2026, Gilchrist was a correspondent for CNBC based in London, where she covered European markets and regional politics, both on-air and online. Prior to that, Gilchrist was based in Singapore, where she reported on early stage companies, venture capital and Asia Pacific markets.
Gilchrist holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Liverpool.
