Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd is engaged in the business of refining of crude oil and marketing of petroleum products. It has refineries in Mumbai, Kochi and Bina, LPG bottling plants and Lube blending plants at various locations. The company's marketing infrastructure includes a network of Installations, Depots, Retail Outlets, Aviation Fuelling Stations and LPG distributors. It has the following two reportable segments: a) Downstream Petroleum ie. refining and marketing of petroleum products, b) Exploration and Production of hydrocarbons (E & P). The majority of revenue is derived from the Downstream Petroleum segment. Geographically, the company generates the maximum revenue from India.
