Quebecor is a Canadian telecom service provider that operates a growing national wireless network and a broadband footprint in Quebec. The firm serves more than 4 million phone lines and nearly 2 million broadband customers. In wireless, Quebecor challenges the Big 3 with the backing of the Canadian telecom regulator, which has allowed the firm to operate a mobile virtual network and offer low-cost service. Still, the company must transition to a fully owned network by 2030. Quebecor also operates media and sports and entertainment segments, including its television network, newspaper publishing, a minor league hockey team, and the Videotron Center.
